1LT Roxana Pozos

Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Golden Warrior Project Co-Founder 1LT Pozos is currently serving as the Executive Officer for the Headquarters Support Company, Army Forces Battalion, Joint Task Force - Bravo, Honduras. Growing up the daughter of two immigrant parents, 1LT Pozos was eager to do her part in serving her country and community. Her passion to serve her community inspired her to assume roles in various offices during her undergraduate career such as Founder of the Latinx Student Union, Student Advisor for Freshman Excellence, and Undergraduate Admissions Office while attending The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. 1LT Pozos commissioned from UNCC 49er Battalion ROTC program as a proud Quartermaster Officer. Accrediting her success to the mentors that came before her. She served as a 2LT in Fort Riley, KS with the 1st Aviation Brigade as the 1-6 CAV BN S4 for a year, following along with serving as the 1-6 CAV, E TRP, Distribution Platoon Leader. Whom she deployed with to Poland. Through the Golden Warrior Project, 1LT Pozos looks to provide the knowledge and resources needed for underrepresented minorities in order to promote diversity and professional success in the Army Officer Corp.
